Purpose: Mountain View Baptist Church is a community of believers who exercise their faith by growing in love, knowledge of God's Word, wisdom, worship and prayer.

 

Directions from Bakersfield:  Take Highway 99 to 178 stay on 178 through the canyon following the river until. About 25 miles you will come to a four lane Freeway --you are still on 178, stay on the freeway until you come to the Bodfish turn off, take it.  At the bottom of the ramp go right.  At the end of the road turn left onto Lake Isabella Blvd.  Stay on Lake Isabella Blvd. until you come to a stop light, turn right onto Erskine Creek Road. Go up Erskine Creek Road until you cross over a small bridge which goes over a flume.  Just past the flume on the left is our church.  There is a wooden sign close to the street in front of the church.
